最优秀的巴洛克乐团

此番与曹秀美合作的英国古乐学会乐团由指挥大师克里斯多夫 霍格伍德于1973年亲手创建,大师在这里实践着自己的本真音乐理念,打造出英国古乐学会乐团这样一支用古乐器演奏巴洛克音乐的劲旅,同时也奠定了自己的古乐先驱地位。现任指挥理查德?艾加尔是一位与众不同的古乐大师,“他根本不像是一个古乐指挥家,更像是摇滚歌手!我一直认为巴洛克音乐比较冷艳,人们在舞台上很少摆动身体,但他是个例外,让人感觉激情澎湃!”曹秀美说。而艾加尔也透露,他和许多乐手都是曹秀美的粉丝,被她的绝美嗓音所折服,因此二者才一拍即合。

除了为曹秀美伴奏,英国古乐学会乐团也将演奏几首独具韵味的作品,如亨德尔的《五声部奏鸣曲》等。伟大的作曲家亨德尔本人就是当时最高明的羽管键琴演奏家,他的演奏让国王沉醉,以至于他的许多音乐会都需要标明“亨德尔先生亲自演奏”,才能带动票房销售。有趣的是,理查德 艾加尔不仅和亨德尔一样是羽管键琴大师,他的演奏风格也和亨德尔一样,肢体语言丰富,这对观众而言也充满了新鲜感。

 

除此之外,这次观众还能见到很多平时难得一见的古乐器,比如弦乐器的弦均由动物肠管制成,不含一丁点钢丝。小号没有阀门,小提琴和中提琴没有腮托,而大提琴演奏者则需要用腿紧紧夹住大提琴,而不是将它们倚在地上。“我们的很多古乐器是木质的,不少乐器都是古董,所以对湿度和温度的要求较高。如果比较干燥的季节,甚至需要在舞台上放水来保持空气的湿度,以免珍贵的乐器受损。所以中国的五月对我们而言,是演奏古乐的完美季节。“艾加尔说。
